Puppies bring the gift of love without boundaries.
Brace yourself for the cuteness of today’s pictures and stories about National Puppy Day! March 23rd is the day to celebrate puppies of all ages by visiting shelters and rescue groups and bringing a dog into your life. This special day encourages folks to adopt a puppy. It’s also the perfect day to post a photo of your puppy or dog and show all the love on social media.
If you’ve never had a puppy in your life or it’s been a while, remember all puppies are active and inquisitive and somehow manage to get into trouble without really trying. But the magic and unconditional love that your new puppy will bring into your life will be priceless.
Many truckers spend days, even weeks, at a time on the road alone. That’s why many truckers consider a furry best friend to join them for those long hauls. Facts show, 40% of truck drivers take their pets on the road with them. Truckers pets give them companionship, security and relieve job stress.
National Puppy Day was founded in 2006 by author Colleen Paige and adopted by other groups and organizations. Colleen has devoted her life to creating special days of recognition that improve the lives of animals and their people. Colleen also started National Mutt Day, National Dog Day and National Cat Day.
Spend time in the company of your furry loved one(s) and help spread the awareness of the plight of puppies, and the love they can bring home.

Oh, to be more like a puppy.
