May is mental health month. Why is that important to a trucker? Because some 43.8 million people (or 1 in 5) in America experiences mental illness in a given year ( Many of those are make up the 3.5 million truck drivers that move our world from one place to another. But I don’t want to talk about the doom and gloom of statistics and all of that. Instead, there’s one thing I want to share with you about how you can help deal with stress while on the road: Music.

Music is a safe way to boost your mood. It can literally calm us, soothe us, energize, and stimulate us.  Music often helps us to concentrate and yet take our minds away from the stressful stuff that goes on around us.  So, here’s a list of great songs to listen to while on the road put together by
